So it turns out you can't solve a mystery in 43 minutes plus commercials here in the real world ha I'm hilarious! It took Jerry a bit to run down the name of the drone manufacturing company--VenPak--and so Steve and Danny left their guests at home to go shake down ask the company CEO a few pointed questions and get a list of names of employees who had been recently fired.

In the time it took them to leave the company, pick up their friends and head for the office, the drone had opened fired on one of the public Waikiki beaches and so everyone was treated to Steve getting reamed out by the governor over speaker phone.

The governor, at Steve's suggestion, agreed to use the tsunami alarm system to clear everyone out of public areas, but made it very clear that this wasn't any kind of a long-term solution. Danny had to break off to take a call from Grace over the sounds of the sirens to assure her that everything was fine while Chin unscrambled the voice of the drone operator who had conveniently called Hawaii Five-0 to brag about how "America needs to be reminded what it's like to be terrorized. To be afraid to step outside," and threaten additional attacks in two hours.

Chin couldn't trace the call but he did figure out that the guy was a former VenPak employee with a shiny new $500,000 deposit in his bank from a company easily traced back to the Russians. He also found an address.

Steve grinned. "Who wants to go on a field trip?"
