Danny and Steve, still with lingering coughs from smoke inhalation due to a crazy arsonist two weeks ago, were finally back in Fandom.

Steve opened up the door to their apartment and sighed. "Why is it so cold still?"

Because he had reverted to being a delicate tropical flower again.

"Because it's spring, Steven," Danny replied, perfectly fine with the temperature. Like the cold hearted man he was.

"Are the cherry blossoms out yet?" Steve asked.

"Probably just in time for one last snowfall," Danny replied before lapsing into a coughing fit. He was really sick of that by now.

Steve whined even as he hustled to the sink to get Danny a glass of water. "No. No snow."

"It's spring," Danny said, not rolling his eyes at Steve's rushing for the water. Or trying not to.

"That means flowers and zero snow," Steve said. "We don't live in Canada."

[hatesparadise]

"It's spring in Maryland," Danny corrected. "So everything's a little messed up."

[grenadesandohana]

"Home's still kind of smokey," Steve said.

[hatesparadise]

"Yeah," Danny agreed, letting out a huff. "Rather not have to use the nebulizer again, thanks."

"That wasn't a good time," Steve vastly understated.

"How you feelin'?" Still attempting to go jogging?

"Much better."
