Remote Area of O'ahu, Thursday night
So the week had been entirely full of frustations, which made it just fucking perfect for Danny and Steve's first governor-mandated therapy session. Steve left the office half expecting to be fired or locked up and so he was deeply grateful for their field trip to the middle of nowhere: a spot on the rocky coastline of the island with palm trees and photogenic rocks, and a place that exactly matched the photo on the postcard Matt Williams had sent to Danny a month after Matt had disappeared as he ran from both the FBI and Colombian drug lords.
Matt had made some choices.
Steve hadn't really expected to find anything here, but they'd dug around to see if the money Matt owed the drug lords had actually been stashed here and that led to where they were now: Steve, covered in sweat and dirt, staring down into the third hole and the duffle he'd just unearthed. "Huh."
[OOC: For that mouthy guy.]

"Christ, Matty," Danny muttered.

What exactly did he think Danny would do with this information exactly? He was a cop for Christ's sake.

"Alright. Let's just... let's just get out of here."

"Putz," Danny grumbled, putting the duffle in the backseat of the car.

He filled in the holes quickly and came back to the car.

"Thank you. For all this."

Danny sighed and nodded. "Let's get this over with."

"Maybe." He could let Steve hope for him right?
