MCA#0, Thursday late evening

For so many reasons, honestly whatever reason, Steve was unable to sleep, so he was back in front of the television with a glass of water, watching the British show about restoring antiques.

But the soothing British biceps accents weren't doing their usual magic.

Steve wasn't sure why, but he was going to stay sitting there just in case it started working.

"It's just nice to hear," Steve said, snuggling into the sofa a little smugly.

"Schmuck," Danny said, smacking him on the arm.

"See?" Steve teased. "That's the follow up that could give a guy a complex."

"I just don't want you getting too big a head," Danny replied, glancing at him with a grin.

Steve poked him in the shoulder. "I never have to worry about that with you around."

"It's why you keep me around," he teased.

"And your lasagna," Steve said.

[hatesparadise]

"That's a given," Danny replied, able to relax in their normal level of cuddling bro sitting.

"The rest of you I could take or leave," Steve teased.

"Uh huh." You said you loved him, you little jerk. No take backs.

It definitely wasn't why Steve was holding onto Danny's shoulder a little tighter. Don't be ridiculous.

Of course not! Or why Danny reached up to give Steve's wrist a little squeeze. Because they were both fine and normal.

Very, very normal. "Dunno about this show," Steve finally admitted.

"Maybe it grows on you." Because Danny was also concerned about the amount of time saying 'glory hole'.

"Maybe," Steve agreed.

Which was, of course, when one of the contestants went on and on about how hard it was to work in the glory hole.

And Danny just struggled to not laugh like some idiot teenager.

That's okay because Steve was absolutely losing it.

Well, if he was laughing, so was Danny. "I think I need a few drinks for this show."

Steve patted Danny's knee as he stood up. "Beer or tequila?" he asked.

"Beer. Tequila sounds like a poor choice."

Wait. Was this all to get Danny drunk for more makeouts?

"Tequila is always a poor choice," Steve said, "but sometimes you want to do it anyway."
