Steve and Danny, being respectable members of the law enforcement community, had been showing up for work oh so handwavily on time, putting in their time, and then coming home and engaging in...

Well. Cardio.

And since they were closer to forty than they were to their twenties (which they both resented, just a little), neither would be complaining about the island's enhancement to their lives.

Danny had gone out for food and beer and so Steve had taken that time to do a little bit of cleaning (neat freak that he was) and then waited to pounce once Danny came back through the door. And put the beer and pizza down, Steve wasn't a complete Neandrathal.

"I'm never gonna be done with you," Steve said quietly, ducking his head.

He wasn't normally prone to saying things like that.

"Yeah?" Danny, don't sound so surprised and pleased by that. It was embarrassing.

Steve dropped a kiss on Danny's lower back. "You know that."

He did, right?

He was trying to trust things! It was an ongoing process!

"I, yeah," Danny said, maybe for himself to try internalizing that.

"Good," Steve said, kissing his back again. "I don't do this with anyone else."

"You," Danny needed to stop being so damn emotional about that being said to him. It was this week's fault. Normally he could handle it just fine! "You said you had more things."

Steve chuckled. "Oh, you're gonna come just from my mouth."

It was good to have goals?

"Jesus, Steven--" He might die. He might actually die.

Steve laughed at that reaction, low and pleased with himself. "You'll love it."

"You're gonna kill me if you keep that up." Definitely not a no.

"I'm not going to kill you," Steve laughed. "Big baby."

"Wait until you're on this end." Oh, that was a threat and a promise that Danny had made without thinking about it. But there they were.

Steve shuddered. "Is that a promise?"

[hatesparadise]

"Yeah," Danny said, not able to deny him when he sounded like that. "Yeah. it is."

"Holy shit," Steve said, voice broken. "But you first."

[hatesparadise]

"Then you," Danny replied, glancing back at him to confirm needlessly that Steve was enjoying this too. Because this week would leave anyone hanging. "You're gonna get off too."

"Babe," Steve said, smiling a little to use Danny's word, "I'm getting off just watching you."

[hatesparadise]

"Yeah?" Danny asked, looking and sounding pretty pleased by that.

[grenadesandohana]

"So much better than porn," Steve said.

[hatesparadise]

Danny laughed, glancing over at where it was still playing. "High praise."

"He's got nothing on you," Steve promised.

[hatesparadise]

"Thank you, babe," Danny replied, chuckling a little as the action on the screen was one too many people for Steve's possessive nature to enjoy.

Steve was not into sharing, thank you.

"Always," he said, then moved his head back to where he couldn't talk any more.

Which would only be amusing when it wasn't actually upsetting for Steve.

"Steve," he gasped, dropping his head to pant and muffle some of those noises against the couch.

Steve hummed and then really applied himself.
