Steve had pulled the plastic totes (carefully labeled) and was de-Christmasing the living room while listening to an audio book about the Navy in the Civil War.

Because of course he was.

"How's the kitchen going?" he called in to Danny.

"Delegating," Danny repeated, unable to keep from laughing.

"Sure," Steve declared.

"Wow," Danny said instead of debating that, working him with his hand.

Steve moaned and pulled Danny closer for a kiss.

Danny went along without any resistance. Just, you know, some stumbling as he stood up straight again.

His poor back.

Steve's hand went down to rub the small of Danny's back.

"Sap," Danny sighed, kissing him again.

"I've got you too," Steve murmured.

"Love you," Danny said as he moved his hand with some intent.

"Love you, too," Steve said, wrapping his legs around Danny and pulling him in close.

Danny chuckled and pressed in close to keep kissing him as he moved his hand. He was just going to take in the quiet noises he managed to get out of Steve here.

"God, Danny," Steve whispered, tucking his head into Danny's shoulder.

"Just like that, babe," Danny murmured. "C'mon for me."

Steve bit down on Danny's shoulder, closed his eyes and came.

Danny just had to wipe his hand off on a kitchen towel that was going to be thrown out after this so he could reach up with both hands to hold onto Steve.

Steve panted, trying to catch his breath. "Goddamn," he finally managed with a laugh.

"You good?" Danny teased.

[grenadesandohana]

"I'm so good," Steve said, kissing him again. "And when my knees work again I'm gonna help you out."

Danny snorted before he pressed a kiss to Steve's shoulder. "Appreciated."

He was still feeling something like smug. But more cozy.

"Gonna ride you like I stole you," Steve said. Romantically.

"Fuck. Babe, you can't just say that."

He could and should, actually!

"Oh, I'm planning on following up," Steve said, hopping down from the counter. "Sofa."

"You better," Danny said, hurrying to get them both to the couch.

Steve reached into the junk drawer and pulled the emergency lube (shut up, he was prepared) from the very back of it.

"I will."

"...please tell me that wasn't just in a drawer in the kitchen." Danny, you didn't want him to answer that.
