Steve had pulled the plastic totes (carefully labeled) and was de-Christmasing the living room while listening to an audio book about the Navy in the Civil War.

Because of course he was.

"How's the kitchen going?" he called in to Danny.

Steve moaned softly. "I like this flow."

"Good," Danny replied, kissing Steve's neck to keep that up.

They were going to get walked in on again at some point.

Oh, definitely. It was their lot in life.

"Danny--" Steve murmured, rocking a little against Danny's leg.

"Yeah, babe?" Now he was just teasing.

"Pain in my ass," Steve told him, grinning back. "C'mere and kiss me some more."

"I am, I am," he said, laughing as he kissed him back.

"With more nakedness," Steve added, tugging at Danny's shirt.

"You get to clean the kitchen after this," Danny said, getting his shirt off with much less speed than Steve could manage.

"I always clean the kitchen," Steve said airily.

"Then I guess it won't be a problem for you."

They honestly deserved each other.

"I'll bleach it all down," Steve promised, then smirked lightly. "Again."

"Scrub it a toothbrush," Danny suggested with a little smirk as he nipped at Steve's throat.

"Not right now," Steve said, tilting his neck.

"Better not," Danny murmured. "I've got plans for you, babe."

"Do they involve defiling the kitchen?" Steve asked.

"They involve me blowing you in the kitchen, yeah," Danny agreed.

"I was hoping you'd say that," Steve said.

Danny snorted into Steve's shoulder. "Well now I'm feelin' predictable."

Didn't stop him from working Steve's cargo pants open, though.

"Nothing about you is predictable," Steve told him, helping with clothing removal.

"Why, thank you, babe," Danny replied cheerfully.

Steve grinned. "You're welcome."

They were just ridiculous people.

"Counter," Danny said, smacking him on the ass. "I'm not fucking up my knee here."

Steve laughed. "Sure," he said, hopping up. Cold countertop on warm ass took a second to adjust to.

Danny hummed, running his hands along Steve's thighs to press between them.

Steve smiled, curling his hand around Danny's neck and pulling him in for a long, lingering kiss.
