Steve and Danny, being respectable members of the law enforcement community, had been showing up for work oh so handwavily on time, putting in their time, and then coming home and engaging in...

Well. Cardio.

And since they were closer to forty than they were to their twenties (which they both resented, just a little), neither would be complaining about the island's enhancement to their lives.

Danny had gone out for food and beer and so Steve had taken that time to do a little bit of cleaning (neat freak that he was) and then waited to pounce once Danny came back through the door. And put the beer and pizza down, Steve wasn't a complete Neandrathal.

"I could get one of those too," Steve said, snickering, "except for a few things. One, who would even wear it? And two, that's no one's business but mine."

"I'm pretty proud of you," Danny replied, leaning against him.

Steve kissed the top of his head. "Oh, thank you."

"You have wondrous skills," he continued.

"Damn right I do," Steve said.

Danny looked up at him, hooking a finger under Steve's chin to give him a pizza tasting kiss. "You're just that good."

"Flattery gets you pretty much anywhere this week," Steve said with a low chuckle.

"Kinda the plan," Danny admitted, forgetting his half eaten pizza now. Because this week.

But the movie!

Steve pulled Danny into his lap, also forgetting about the pizza.

They could always pause it! They would not, but the option was there.

Danny moved into his lap without any hesitation, straddling his hips to push Steve back against the couch.

Well, it was only boring setup now anyway.

Steve settled back with a small smile. "This is much better."

"You're just thrilled to have the energy for multiple times a day," Danny said, shamelessly directing Steve's hands to his ass.

"It's like being 20 again," Steve said a little gleefully, giving Danny's ass a squeeze.

[hatesparadise]

"It really is," Danny agreed, with an answering little grin.

[grenadesandohana]

"So we have to keep taking advantage," Steve concluded.

[hatesparadise]

"Somehow I'm not surprised that's what you'd go with here," Danny said, tugging his own shirt off before Steve could complain that it was in the way.

"Well, I have a lapful of very hot...you," Steve said, "and instructional video in the background."

Danny still beamed at that description. Because a fella could get used to it, you know.

"And you've got supplies in your pocket," he added, knowing Steve too well.

"Of course I do," Steve said. "But you're sitting on them."

[hatesparadise]

"At least it's not a grenade," Danny replied, kissing him again and not moving away just yet. "Tell me what you got in mind since I abandoned you to get food, babe."

"It was terrible," Steve agreed, nuzzling Danny's neck. "How about we turn you around so you can watch the movie with me, then we do what they do, only better?"

This was going to end in strained muscles.

Danny inhaled deeply, shifting on his lap for a moment. "You gonna leave a mark on the back of my neck again?"

He very much did not sound upset about it. Since it'd be healed by the time he needed to see anyone back home.

Or so he thought.

"Do you want one?" Steve asked, grinning back.

[hatesparadise]

"I wouldn't turn it down," Danny said, tugging on Steve's hair playfully. "Toldja I like when you mark me up."

Again. Within reason.

Steve growled low in his throat. "I like it, too. Turn around and I won't get too carried away."
